Stainless Steel Kitchen Tongs Double Spatula Turner for Cooking Steaks Burgers Buffets Restaurant Serving Utensils

One of the best things about summer besides the beautiful weather is the fun times spent together as a family. Most of those occasions include food. We are seasonal campers so starting next weekend we will be down at camp every weekend till mid October. One of my favorite easy meals is food on the grill, like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, I could go on forever. This year I was hoping to find a better utensil to use while cooking on the grill. Last year we lost a few burgers as when you go to flip them they some how slide themselves between the grate and down to flame. When I saw these burger tongs I knew I had to give them a shot. They seem to be the perfect solution to my problem. As I mentioned camp doesn't start for another week. So I haven't been able to put the to the true test but I can say they do appear to be made well and of food grade stainless steel. If for any reason these dont work out exactly as planned I will be back to share my story.

Good product. Just be aware that the 9.25 inch length includes 4 inches of spatula. Very short handle. On the plus side, my arms no longer have hair.

Pay attention to the measurements. This item is good quality, but it’s short so I wouldn’t recommend for grilling as it would put you too close to the heat. We are now using it in the kitchen. Other than that, it’s not bad.

The media could not be loaded.  I have long wanted a good double-sided spatula for flipping burgers and saute'd and fried potatoes and other hard-to-flip items in a skillet or on a grill. The other "double-sided" spatulas I've found before have only a partial surface on one of the sides (two little prongs) so you still can't get a grip on a whole burger, or batch of hash browns, to flip them. With this utensil, both sides are solid. I still have to use another spoon or something to push the food against when I push it in the pan to pick it up, but then it holds it tightly until I flip it over and let go. The tongs are the right weight and sturdiness and have the right amount of spring for accomplishing the task handily. So, that's a long way to go to say I really like them and I recommend them.

I haven't tried these yet, but I've long wanted something with a little width to it to pick up and turn over fragile things, like fish. I like the fact that they are wider than they are deep. Should work great for my fish fry tomorrow. Also, I'm not fond of the tongs that have a part that you slide up and down to open the tongs. I've pinched myself on this type a few times, plus some get loose and won't stay where you put them. These, you just squeeze. Good thinking, whoever designed these!

One day I was cooking salmon patties and all I had was a regular spatula. So when I decided to go and flip them you know they came apart. So I took two Amazon looking for a remedy and I found these. As soon as they came in the mail I decided to cook my salmon patties again and I had no problems with them breaking or falling apart are crumbling when I flip them over.

I highly do NOT recommend this. It is way too short, and most of all it is so hard to grip things. Stick with regular tongs. I thought this was a good idea but apparently not. Very disappointed.

I bought this primarily to use for scooting pizza from the oven rack to a tray. It works fine for that. The opening of the spatula is rather narrow (about 1.75"), so it can't be used for much. I would like this better if it was made from heat resistant nylon or silicone because I am afraid this would scratch my non-stick pans if I decided to use it there. It is dishwasher safe and seems sturdy. Overall, it is a good product.
