Fitment
I was really excited for this as I have a 92FS Italian made Beretta. I got home and installed it immediately. The only downside I found was there was about an eighth inch gap between the rail and the frame of the pistol. I thought I had done something wrong so I took it off and started over three separate times. Gap was still there. I am not a fan of gaps when it comes to furniture on my firearms. Other than that I think it would be a great purchase if you just do some plinking at the range. I am not sure how much I would rely on it staying true in a serious situation.

Really couldn't suck much more
Wow.........I really cannot believe what a poorly designed, misrepresented piece of junk this thing is. "Misrepresented " may be too strong since I went back to the product description and it DOES say "easily mounts" . Doesn't mount anywhere near flush in the cradle and slides all over the trigger guard but Yep it mounted. I kinda feel mounted to the tune of almost $23 too!Thinking I could salvage this unit I spent literally hours filing on this toy. Do a little, stop, remount and repeat over and over. I saw the flaws in the design and corrected the cradle till it fit totally flush and even got the clamping area to the trigger guard to compress like it should (was a huge loose gap prior).Took it to our new 5 star local shooting range and proudly pulled it out with folks on either side of me in the clear walled range and pulled off a couple shots. I noticed the guy on my left looking at my gun as well as the Range Master. "Obviously impressed I got this rig to work or is something wrong?"lolSo I drop my clip and clear the chamber to find to my embarrassing horror the damn thing has slid all the way out of position to the curve of the trigger guard and is pointing at the floor!!!! Before my mods it did that non stop no matter how hard tightened in case there is a "shouldn't have filed it "proponent in the crowd.Very, very disappointed, do not waste your hard earned money on this item

Does Exactly What I Expected!
Does exactly what I expected; allows accessories on a gun without a rail. I found no issues with quality or fit (my 92 FS is Italian manufactured). Can't imagine why you would bend the ears where it touches the gun...I found the fit to be very snug which it should be; I don't want my light moving as the pistol recoils. Scratch your pistol?...well, yea if you aren't careful (field stripping a Walther PPK will scratch the pistol at the trigger guard unless you're careful). I guess I can understand a laser not staying properly aligned due to the demands of targeting with a laser, not due to the rail system but mine doesn't seem to move. I did snug the screws up with a back and forth pattern...the rail needs to be evenly installed to fit properly.I found the installation intuitive if you look at it a couple of times, but hey...guys...how about some instructions???! (thank you YouTube).I guess if I expected a factory fit I should have bought a pistol with a rail on it, huh?
