Super Poli-Grip Comfort Seal Strips -- 40 Strips (Pack of 3) by Super Poli-Grip

My friend told me about these strips so I tried them.They advise to use no more than 3 strips. That didn't even keep them stationary through lunch. So I keep adding strips and placing them in the areas I was having issues with.Anyway, I use 6 strips a day. I place two across the back from the edge inwards towards the center. I have to cut the second strip as you don't want them to overlap. Then I put one strip on each side from the edge of the back strip to the front of plate in the in the trench and up the side a bit. I then take a strip and cut it in half and set aside. I take the last strip and cut it into thirds. I place a portion of the cut in thirds strip one in the middle, one towards the back in between the strip on the back edge and the middle. Then I take the last of the third and place it in between the middle strip and the front. I take the cut in half strip and put it on the sides in between the three pieces in the middle and the gum trench. I rinse my mouth with lukewarm water two times then put the plate in my mouth and bite down, then use my fingers to press it in securely in all the spots to adhere tothe gums and roof of my mouth. Please be aware that the denture will be stuck in your mouth really well. If stuck in really well take a cup of hotter than lukewarm water and rinse several times until denture loosens from the gum and roof of mouth. Take your finger and scrape the majority of the adhesive off the plate then use your denture brush to get the rest of the adhesive off and out of of all the crevices. Rinse well and place in denture cup with denture cleaner.Take a regular toothbrush to gently scrap remaining adhesive on roof of mouth and gums off. I brush that area with toothpaste when adhesive is removed.

I use these strips on the back end of my upper denture instead of using dental adhesive. They hold well and I don't have dental adhesive oozing out from the back of the denture. I use denture adhesive for the rest of the denture but I don't need to use as much as I did before I started using these strips.
