Zarrin - Belgium's Hard Sugar Cube, 2 Lb 3 Oz (1kg)

Now that I have tried this brand I will never go back to the little squared sugar cubes again. These cubes are larger than the American standard cube, dissolve easily, and taste immensely better. This is the third time I've ordered them and I will continue to purchase as long as Amazon carries it.

Large cubes, perfect to remind us of our time in Bruge. Easy to break for 2 servings, easy to use, just wish they were Individually wrapped.

I bought these sugar cubes because they are larger than most, and also because they are scored down one side so they can also be broken in half. They are perfect for my needs.

Quality and value

First of all I had zarrin sugars before and I always liked them because of the texture was hard. They either changed the quality, or it's just this packaging it's melted easily which is not what I was looking for. Those are available in every grocery store around me for a quarter of this price.Beside that the packaging were not sustainable. Paper packaging got wet in the rain in front of my door before I could pick it up. And instead of the actual package they put "fragile" sign on the sugar packing making it not visible the the handlers. Therefore half of the "hard" sugar cubes were already granulated. And tastes like average sugar from neighborhood grocery store.

As a youngster almost every eating establishment or diner had bowls of sugar cubes and it was very easy to see just how much sugar you were adding to drinks. I have searched locally and have never found them on the shelves. This is exactly what I was looking for and we are using less sugar and getting better taste after purchasing these.Loving the one lump or two in our coffee and tea!

I was hoping these would be “cubes”. They are not.

For some reason, this brand is consistently the least expensive sugar cube on Amazon, but the quality is top notch. Don't know why everyone else prices their sugar so high. Great buy.
