These are pretty good short compression socks! I had reconstructive foot & ankle surgery 7 weeks ago and at my last appointment my doctor told me to look into compression sock for the foot that was operated on. The first time I purchased these, I ordered a Medium size completely forgetting to take into consideration the swelling of my foot. So I repurchased them (luckily they were on sale this time around!) and got a L/XL size. Although they fit well, I definitely feel the uncomfortable pressure on the sides of my foot. I only wear them during the day and take them off before sleeping to give my foot a break. I will advise that if you are using it post-surgery and decide to get a larger size, remember that your stronger, able foot will not necessarily feel the compression! Otherwise, I recommend and will be purchasing another color in my regular size once the swelling goes down.Update:Two years later, the sock still has that compression feel to it despite many washes! I absolutely love them and recently purchased them in other colors. It would be nice if they came in a pack with the different colors. I still use a L/XL as I was officially diagnosed with arthritis and the swelling in my arthritic foot doesn't go down. I still recommend them as they are great! They have helped me with that extra support and foot compression when I am cleaning the house and wearing my slides. If you have small feet like me, they are a bit long and will cover half if not most of your toes! :)

Helps support ankles and helps some with pain from several medical issues. Very nice and comfortable.

I buy them twice.I work 8 to 10 hours shift and this socks are very helpful to control the pain of pass to many hours standing. They are a little tight and get warm of time depending how long you keep in.Material not badBreathable

I got the wrong size. I have huge feet for a woman, size 11 wide so I got the 2x, definitely should have sized down but it's my first time buying stuff for my feet lol. I am too lazy to return them, so instead I folded them down and them down twice to where it was more of a wrap around my arch and let me tell you! My foot have been in agony due to plantar fasciitis for weeks. This is the only thing that's worked lmao. I was gonna order a smaller size but honestly I might just keep these and fold em lol. But I will say I think it would only be comfortable around the house with no shoes I don't think it would be comfortable with shoes on and at work but I will carry it with me if my new insoles don't work!

this is a mixed review. I want to love them. they fit great around the ankle and at the arch. The length from heal to toe is far too long for a women's shoe size 8, and ends at an awkward point at my toeline. the point the sleeve stops then makes them feel too uncomfortable to wear for more than a handful of minutes. the 2nd pair purchased for male shoe size 13, fits better than a glove. the sleeve ends at the appropriate length and is comfortable to wear for hours.

Good stuff! I ordered one black sort of out of the blue to see if they would make my ankles feel more stable and they did.............so I ordered a second pair (green for variety). I have minor balance problems due to an inner ear problem so my feet, ankles and thighs, hips to extra work to 'keep me upright' and these seem to leave my feet and ankles less tired...I am a size 10.5 USA shoe and got a small.

Well-made, soft feel, supportive. Hard to put on and take off, but that is likely due to my arthritis.

It was my 1st time ordering this brand and I'm very impressed of the fit and price, x/xl here and wish they were a tad bit tighter but they seem pretty awesome for the price. Thank you
