You can practice with some of our most popular knife designs, in relative safety, with our new rubber training knives. We have rubber training versions of our Peace Keeper I, the R1 Military Classic, Recon Tanto, Leatherneck-Sf, Laredo Bowie, Black Bear Classic and - new for 2013 - the Trench Knife Trainer. Each has been carefully fashioned to look as realistic as possible so they can be effectively used in solo practice, training drills, disarm drills, and demonstrations and any other activity where you want a reasonably close approximation of realism but not the extreme danger and risk associated with an actual knife. The Santoprene rubber blades are soft enough to prevent the likelihood of most bodily injury. They do however, have a level of firmness that might cause injury to the face or the eyes, so it is recommended that appropriate eye protection or a fencing mask is utilized at all times when using a Cold Steel rubber training knife

Good product
Really good product. The knife fits in the sheath tight enough that you can hold it upside down and it won’t fall out. There’s also a Velcro strap to hold the knife in place. You can easily attach it to a Molle vest with a couple of cable ties through the holes on the sheath. The knife itself is good quality. It’s well made with only the blade being bendy. However the blade itself is still firm enough that it won’t bend unless a lot of force is used. A word of caution for people training in knife defences in that it will still hurt like hell!!!!!

Its not the greatest quality materials no
Its not the greatest quality materials no, it probably wont last years. However, for a little rubber knife to take airsofting, its fair value an does the job. I'd rather replace one of these if lost/broken than the better 'quality' much more expensive ones.

Cheap, Will not last
This is cheaply made and constructed from two different pieces with the handle loosely fitting onto the (plastic)tang. It rattles . Bought for Self Defence practise but don't see it lasting . A one piece rubber knife would be a better buy for that.

Cosplay Prop
Nice and con friendly with a rubber flexible blade. Looks realistic enough to pass on a Colonial Marines Armour project.Holds weathering perfectly and great

Made close to real size, and durable with one pointy issue
Ok, So the product does hold up well, especially if used in an environment like airsoft, i've taken it out about six times by the time i post this review. the rubber itself could use a little bit of weighting to make it a bit more realistic, because a knife like this shouldn't weigh so little, About the pointy issue, Its advised that you squish the tip down a bit, because i managed to damage the skin with the surprisingly hard point at the tip of the knife. Other than that though, it is what it is, and a sharp point won't affect the review rating
