The nylon and bristle combination is perfect for my medium thick long hair. I would give it 5 stars if the handle was balanced better with the brush. The handle is too short for my large hand and makes brushing somewhat awkward.

I was expecting better quality for $40. The brush smells like a tire store. Such a strong rubber smell I could not use it for days and still won't use it with the hair dryer because it makes it worse. The bristles are also very small and barely make it through my hair. Buy another brand.
