I have tried basically every fancy beauty oil on the market, and none of them have made any difference on my super dry hair ... except this one. I combed it through my ends after washing, let it sit overnight, and in the morning it had actually soaked in and made my hair smooth! All of the other oils I've tried mostly just sat on top of my hair ... which masked the dryness, but that was about it and if I used even a little too much it quickly turned greasy. This didn't at all! I don't think this would heal split ends or anything crazy like that, but this has really made a difference. It's definitely a bright orange color, but I have dark blonde hair and it wasn't noticeable.

I bought this to help with a large scar. Haven't used it long enough to tell whether its going to do any good but I started putting a drop or two into my face cream and its really great. Because it contains carotenoids it turns your skin a slight orange as if you had eaten a lot of carrots. Its a pretty color and natural so don't be afraid but don't use it directly on your skin, just a drop or two in your regular cream. I'd love to use it in shampoo but I'm afraid it would turn my hair orange:(( (I have a lot of grey in my hair, I'd probably try it if my hair were dark.) It's a small bottle but will last a long time at the rate I'm using it.

I'm having a hard time believing that this is real Buriti oil and not African Palm Oil... First off I've used buriti oil before and although it is a orange color,when adding it to shampoo etc. it never stained my hair and skin. This crap DOES stain your hair and skin orange and is not moisturizing or helpful at all. Total bogus product and a complete waste of money!

After a bad perm, my hair was so damaged and dry, they just broke off! I had to do something quick if I wanted to save my hair. I applied this on towel dried hair, and almost instantly, I felt it soaking in. It felt like it was actually sealing the cuticles of my damaged hair which was so porous. When it dried, I had some shine back whereas before, it was dry and brittle. No more breakage, and no split ends. After continued use, my hair completely bounced back, with healthy, shiny curls and great texture. A little goes a long way too. I haven't had to repurchase before it completely repaired my hair, and I still have some left!

excellent oil. I needed it as part of my own customized skin and hair oil. I had another oil mix that I liked, and this ingredient is in it. Works nice on my face and hair. Very nourishing.
