Q: How much concrete does it take to fill mold? And what's best concrete to use?

Hello. Thank you for the question. To make a tortoise you will need about 17 lb of concrete. Hi Thanks for your question. Molds are manufactured in Ukraine.

Q: I heard that spraying the inside of the mold is tat the key to getting it out in one piece? I long should l wait to try and get the turtle out?

Getting the concrete mix just right is key and then letting it fully dry in the sun before taking it out. It will break if there are spots that are not fully dry. We put them in full sun and waited at least 12 hours and we used quick dry concrete.

Q: Can you imprint names on the mold?

I didn’t. But I suppose you could if you put your letters in the mold before you put in the cement. It would be difficult but you could give it a few tries . . . Good luck!
