You can view what is on the SD card but you can’t save it or transfer it to your phone., I stand corrected it works but is incredibly slow. I tried to film a 3 minute clip of my iPhone saying saving video, started the saving process a few minutes before filming the clip and at 2:30 I stopped my review video and tried to add it to my review but it failed then my video finally saved to my phone.

It okay, works but haven’t used much. Value for the money wasn’t worth for the price I’ve paid.

The unit was great worked fast and was small with no cord to lose connection. Be aware that it will not work with all cases installed it’s wide and thick, not a problem if you don’t use a case or if your case has a larger opening. It was to wide to use without removing my case every time I wanted to use it.

You can easily view all your videos and photos directly from your micro SD card using the built in files app without having to import them to your iPhone or download some third party app, it's really that simple! Get yourself a 2TB micro SD card and fill it to the brim with your favorite movies and you've got yourself a portable cinema for your camping trip! While it's true that the adapter gets hot while plugged in it's important to point out that due to it's compact size there is less thickness between the inner components and the outer shell so it's nothing to be concerned about.

I can't really review the functionality of this product, because it does not reach the lightning port while using an otter box. This adapter is too wide and does not clear the Otter box frame to allow the adapter to connect. You will need a short jumper cable to use this product if your phone is housed in an otter box frame. You may want to look at one of the 7 port SD card adapters with the short connector cord.

Very simple to use and doesn't require an app to make it work. Just put in a Micro SD Card , 64gig I believe is the largest card it supports, and plug it in to your phone. Than go to Files and find the card reader on the list. Than start moving your files and photos over to the card. I tested it with 10 gigs of photos and it only took a few seconds to transfer. Other people complain about the transfer rate being too slow but I have not experienced that. It transfers fast enough in my opinion. I have not tried moving items from the card to the phone however that is a supported feature if you want to load up movies are podcasts or tv shows to watch. This reader may support 128gig or even larger cards but 64 gig is the largest card I had on hand when I tested it and it works.
